i picked up a couple new sausages over the weeekend as i was getting my puter in order . it turns out the volume prob wasnt a browser add-on , but it was F'ing MS Messenger . while mum & sis were having their weekly chat, i adjusted the speaker volume in the video chat screen and the next time i turned on some tunes or turned the puter on or off , all things were back to normal . i didnt have to lose all my bookmarks after all . *sigh* oh well, my bookmarks did need to be cleaned out anyway
while getting my daily bookmarks back together , i was able to find all but 1 of my regular sites . it was a new one so i hadnt had a chance to save or archive it . it had all kinds of oddball posts and cute animal stuff . the name was something like nothing but for abernathy or something liek that, but not that cuz numerous searches of variatons on that have come up empty . if anyone out there knows this site , could you please email me the link . i kinda miss it . even if i didnt sausage anything from it , it usually left a smile on my face.

I must apologize . I screwed up . Due to some minor probs on my puter's master speaker volume , i've bee doing complete re-installs of various applications in order to get the sound quality i had just last week . i've done quite a few changes lately , so i've been trying all kinds of things . this morning i decided to do a complete reinstall of firefox , all its extensions and its add-ons . to do this i clicked the 'do not save custom savings' button and it uninstalled . it also took all my bookmarks with it . that means that all the sites i had stumbled upon this week for you are gone . sorry about that , but there wont be any sausages this weekend . i also lost the bookmarks for the sites i go to on a regular basis , so once i re-establish them , i'll do a sausage post as soon as i can .

the worst part is , i havent fixed the volume prob . the windows master volume fader is at 100% , but my volume is abour 40% of what it used to be . if anyone has any ideas , please email me at andy@rollick.org . i've run out of ideas of how to fix it

a little while back i installed the final beta version of firefox 3 on my puter and with any beta , there have been a couple minor growing pains , but nothing that makes me regret using it . It is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy faster , uses a tons less puter memory and is fully customizable . this is great cuz i have been able to cram all the buttons and options into two small tool bars (one on the top , one on the bottom) so now its like i view all web pages as a full screen . its nice . my only real problems have been how my addons have dealt with the changes . for a while i was having a problem connection to some links on youtube , but an reinstall of my addons seems to have fixed the problem (thanks for the idea arin) . finding all the addons was the hardest thing . my absolute must addon, Foxy Tunes , is not on the main addons page at mozilla . you have to go to the link to the developers page for a beta version and d/l it from there . my other addons are Download Status Bar (stops that annoying d/lpage from popping up when you d/l) , Adblock Plus (say goodbye to web ads) & PDF Download (opens pdf files in your browser) are readily available off the 'most reccommended addons' page .
my only i'm forced to use i addon IE View (opens pages in internet exploerer that have to be viewed in internet explorer) , isnt in the most popular addons but its there after a little searching . make sure you get the correct one for you , cuz the page where i do these sausage postings is IE only (my own damn fault for not switching to a better blogging app , but i'm too lazy to do it lol) . thats why its taken so long to post these sausages...............
