its funny how some of the oldest remedies often work the best . my jaw is still sore and i take ibuprphen to help with the swelling , but nothing and i mean nothing works as well as a coupel of pinches of ground cloves . i jam it into the sore area like one would do with chewing tobacco and pretty soon its not so sore anymore and i can get a full nights's sleep . the only drawback is a really funny taste in your mouth when i wake up . its not too bad just weird .
tomorrow i go in the biopsy results , so in the meantime i may as well post some sausages...........

mannnnnn i'd like to eat something really crunchy ! unfortunately my jaw just isnt up to it . things are healing up , just very slowly . i was a tad worried when the entire side of my face was tingling the other day , so i went in to get that checked it out . turns out this is just the nerves settling into the space voided by a 3cm (just over 1 inch) hole where the cyst used to be . it still hurts like hell , but at least it is healing properly . i would like a nice chewy sausage though.......

well here i am , back in the city after a couple of weeks of watching sis sleeping in between scarfing down bags of Cheezies . though the weather wasnt that great , it was a nice visit .
its now time to deal with the cyst on my jaw . yesterday was supposed to be a quick short procedure to remove some tissue for biopsy . instead i was treated to an hour and a half of jawbone scraping and the removal of the large central chunk of the cyst as well as some of my bone that i heard them crunching off . *shudder* everything was all sent off for testing and i will find out the results in 2 weeks . for now the left side of my face is sore and very swollen and i am stuck drinking cold food and liquids . i tell you , iced coffee just doesnt cut it . luckily tomorrow i can start warming up food . that will be a treat . luckily sis took the rain with her back to the uk and i am recovering under clear blue skies and nice temps . hee hee
althought warm food is forbidden , i think its safe to have a sausage or two............
